Product Description

Thanks to its convex array the OTE Double-Head Transvaginal/Convex Wireless Ultrasound Transducer provides clear images with deep penetration during endocavity applications. It has a frequency range between 6,5 – 8 MHz, and Physicians use it for gynaecological assessments of the female’s internal reproductive organs: womb, lining of the womb, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and surrounding structures. The device is also well suited for pelvis and prostate gland examinations in male patients.

The OTE-T/C502CD Color Doppler Transducer ensures images are transferred straight to your smartphone or tablet through Wi-Fi Connection, and is compatible with iOS and Android devices and Windows PC software. It is lightweight, convenient, and easy to operate and carry around.

The Convex array is also designed for surgical use. With a frequency range between 3,5 – 5 MHz and a depth of field of 90 to 300 mm, the device is ideal to examine and diagnose internal organs. Fetal echocardiography allows physicians to obtain a clearer view of the structure and function of your unborn child’s organs. This can be achieved with either transabdominal or transvaginal screening; for better results we recommend both procedures.

The OTE-T/C502CD Probe is the probe of choice for Gynecologists and Urologists.

The examination can be conducted either transabdominally using the Convex component that is placed on the abdomen or transvaginally using the Transvaginal component that is introduced into the vagina.

– The transabdominal route allows for a broader, “panoramic” view of the pelvis, to study particularly and pathologically enlarged pelvic organs, and to evaluate the relationships between the internal genitalia and neighboring organs. Disadvantage of the transabdominal approach is that it always requires adequate bladder filling.

– The transvaginal route allows closer examination of the uterus and ovaries, thereby acquiring more detail. It does not require any kind of preparation and is usually well tolerated by the patient. Transvaginal examination may miss structures “far” from the probe (extrapelvic), a limitation well compensated by the versatility of the OTE-T/C502CD probe.
