BENEFITS AND INDICATIONS
Being a wireless device, the O.T.E. Medical portable is suitable to use in an aseptic environment and offers the added benefit of easier infection control measures. It can be quickly disinfected, easily encased and transported to other locations while minimising the risk of transmission.
Phase1 – Patient screening
All potential Covid19 symptoms such as temperature, shortness of breath and fatigue are checked. The patient will be asked if anyone in his/her family or support circle is experiencing any covid19 symptoms and if they have recently travelled abroad.
Phase2 – Diagnosis
The patient undergoes a medical examination, a clinical examination of the lungs, an oxygen saturation test, and lung ultrasounds scan with wireless scanner.
Phase3 – Post Diagnosis
The results of the lung ultrasound are then used to assess the patient, make treatment decisions and potentially schedule follow-up examinations.
